Plum Park Wedding | Northamptonshire Wedding Photographer | Laura & Peter

A wedding at Plum Park Manor in Northamptonshire? Yes please! The bride and groom kicked things off with a ‘first look’ before the ceremony, which enabled them to have so much more time to relax, laugh and drink with their guests after the ceremony. Watching their faces light up when they saw each other was everything. It set the tone for a day that was less about tradition and more about pure, unfiltered joy.

This wedding wasn’t just about looking pretty—it was about having fun and making memories that stand out. After the “I do’s,” we broke out the smoke bombs for some seriously epic photos. The bursts of color against the classic elegance of Plum Park Manor? Absolutely killer. Later on, the couple made their exit through a tunnel of sparklers, surrounded by their crew, and it felt like something out of a movie. The energy was electric, and every shot was packed with life and excitement.

In between all the big moments were those little candid ones that really made the day. Whether it was a quiet laugh, a quick tear, or just a stolen glance, these were the moments that truly told their story. Plum Park Manor was the perfect backdrop for it all, with its mix of grandeur and warmth. If you’re looking to have a wedding that’s as chill and fun as it is beautiful, this place—and this vibe—is where it’s at.

Plum Park Manor is situated just outside the ancient and medieval town of Towcester, (or Lactodorum as the Romans called it) Northamptonshire on the old Roman road of Watling Street, just a minute or twos drive from the horse racing venue of Towcester Racecourse. Northamptonshire itself is rich in history, dating back to the Bronze Age and surviving the Roman invasion, the ancient town centre even boasted a castle at one point and is mentioned in the Doomsday book of 1096.

The town as we know it today was established on the River Nene in the Bronze Ages, the nearby Briar Hill, shows signs of use as a Neolithic encampment, for example.
