If Carlsberg do bridal parties, they’d probably do this lot. From the time I arrived at Elie’s house for hair and makeup fun to the time I left the wedding, these guys were great. Laughter, tears, fun, giggles, Prosecco the lot.
Makeup was well on the way by the time I arrived so we got started straight away with the photos. Everyone was so relaxed as Sarah, the makeup queen, worked her magic. Once the dress was on and the final touches were completed it was time for the dress reveal to the emotional bridesmaids and with the very proud father of the bride. As I took the photos, Sarah recorded the moment on tiktok and with Dads reaction as it was, it soon went viral and her tiktok blew up with views. 2.5 million later and it’s still going strong. Number one dad reveal apparently, so we made history!
Into the wedding cars to take up to the church and Alex was calmly waiting at the top of the aisle for his bride to be to arrive. Once the ceremony was completed and the group photos done we headed to Aylesbury Rugby club for the fun to continue. The drinks flowed and the laughter continued until it was time for the wedding breakfast and the all important speeches.
The dance floor was full for most of the rest of the evening as the wedding band did their thing and the first dance was completed.
This was a FUN wedding.

Planning a wedding in Buckinghamshire means tying the knot in one of England’s most picturesque and historic counties. As a seasoned wedding photographer in Buckinghamshire, I’ve captured love stories at some of the county’s most iconic locations — each steeped in romance, elegance, and centuries of tradition.
Why Choose Buckinghamshire for Your Wedding?
From the rolling Chiltern Hills (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) to historic market towns like Marlow, Amersham, and Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire offers backdrops that are both breathtaking and meaningful. This county has long been the setting for regal celebrations, stately architecture, and moments worth preserving forever.
Iconic Wedding Venues in Buckinghamshire I Love Photographing:
- Waddesdon Manor – A French-style château built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in the 19th century. Its gardens and opulent rooms make every photo look like a scene from a royal romance.
- Cliveden House, Taplow – Once home to dukes, earls, and even Queen Victoria’s friends, Cliveden offers grandeur and history wrapped into one.
- Hedsor House, near Bourne End – Known for its cinematic setting and famous guests, Hedsor is a dream wedding venue.
- Notley Abbey, near Thame – The former home of Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, this 12th-century abbey is a fairy tale backdrop.
- The Dairy at Waddesdon, Danesfield House, and Missenden Abbey – Each blends elegance with timeless countryside charm.
A County Rich in History – Perfect for Timeless Photography
Buckinghamshire has witnessed moments that shaped the nation. From the Civil War battlefields near Aylesbury to the birthplace of code-breaking at Bletchley Park, there’s a strong sense of legacy. When you say your vows in Stowe Gardens, walk hand-in-hand down the Old Amersham high street, or celebrate in a 17th-century barn in the Vale of Aylesbury, you’re stepping into England’s living history.
Natural Beauty Meets Romance
For couples dreaming of outdoor shots, I recommend sessions at:
- Black Park near Wexham – A filming location for Harry Potter and Star Wars, this woodland wonder is magical year-round.
- The Chilterns – Golden fields, chalk hills, and quaint villages like Turville and Hambleden, where time slows down and love takes centre stage.
- Wendover Woods, West Wycombe Park, and Long Crendon offer unique combinations of heritage and nature — perfect for golden hour portraits.
Local Traditions, Timeless Memories
Whether you’re marrying in Buckingham, Beaconsfield, or Princes Risborough, my approach to wedding photography combines documentary-style storytelling with creative direction — ensuring your photos are authentic, romantic, and rooted in the landscape and legacy of Buckinghamshire.
