As far as small and intimate weddings go, Becky and Rob got it spot on. Not that you generally think of central London as small and intimate! The day started off with Becky getting ready at the Rosewood Hotel in Holborn with just her one bridesmaid, mum and Rob’s young daughter for company. A quick taxi ride later and we found ourselves at Chelsea Old Town Hall registry office for the ceremony where their closest friends and family were awaiting them. Once done there, we avoided the rain squall and headed to Room 34 in Mayfair for a sit down meal and a relaxed evening of fun and laughter.
The one star of the entire day however was Kaitlin, Rob’s daughter. She excitedly got ready with the girls, including some funky dancing, proudly watched and participated in the ceremony and then through tears, welcomed Becky into the family with lots of hugs and love. I’m sure you can see the emotion in the photos of her.
It really was an honour to be a part of such a special day for the happy couple and their families. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
